Swarthmorewood Athletic Association

Since 1956, Swarthmorewood Athletic Association (SWAA) has been providing baseball, softball, football, and cheerleading programs to the children of Ridley township and Swarthmore. We are a 100% volunteer-based organization. Swarthmorewood Athletic Association's goal is to teach and develop the fundamentals of sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness, and healthy competition.

Making the transition from t-ball to softball & baseball is tough for our

youngest players. The childrens arms are not yet strong enough to pitch, there

is fear of getting hit by a pitch, and little action in the field. That is why

our 8U divisions will hit off the pitching machine. Development is our priority.

Volunteer Clearances

If you are considering volunteering as a coach, we will need to have your

clearances on file. Please go to the Coaches section within the About Us tab

to follow the instructions for obtaining your clearances.
